欧州が負け続ける理由
私は欧州チームが弱いと言っているわけではない。しかし、長距離移動による疲労、気候適応、そしてチャンピオンズリーグ決勝直後の出場という状況を考えれば、不利な立場に置かれているのは事実だ。
10試合中6試合で欧州クラブは国内・大陸決勝後2週間以内に出場した一方、南米チームはそれほど多くの高圧ゲームを経ていない。

真の問題はスキルではなく構造
UEFAが怒るのは敗北そのものではない。FIFAのスケジュール設計によって不公平に扱われていると感じているからだ。世界クラブW杯はグローバルな視認性を優先し、スポーツとしての公正性を損ねている。
シーズン通算アルゴリズムを走らせておいて、6月以降一度も試合をしていない相手と戦わされるというのは競争ではない。不利な位置づけだ。
さらに言うなら、ベッティングプラットフォーム向け予測モデルを開発する立場からも、こうした不均衡がオッズの不安定化を引き起こしていることを知っている。信頼性低下につながるのだ。
変えるべきこと
簡単な解決策：主催地を地域ごとの強さのサイクルに合わせて回転させること。あるいはより良いのは、各大陸の決勝時期に応じて決勝日程を分散させることで、移動や疲労によるペナルティを回避することだ。
FIFAはスペクタクル好きだが、本当の信用を得るにはバランスある競争が必要だ。
INTJとして論理と最適化を愛する私にとって、この仕組みはすでに壊れている。公平性が疑われる国際大会前に是正すべきだ。
